Living on the wrong side of the law ultimately lands KD in a situation so harsh that, to protect him, his uncle is forced to send him back to Africa. With unshaken loyalty, love, and trust among them, and a strong backing, the young men take the streets of New York by storm. Developing an unbreakable bond with Juan "Dolla" Sanchez and Roberto "Poundz" Sanchez, friends from his childhood neighborhood, KD embarks on a quest to achieve success in the drug game at all costs. KD's struggles continue as he finds himself becoming a product of the crime-infested neighborhood he grew up in. KD goes on to endure the struggles of growing up and adjusting to the conditions of his new home, ultimately stumbling down the wrong path during his early adult ages. His maternal grandmother's desperate cry for help for the poor boy results in his distant uncle, Black, migrating a young KD to the United States for a better life.

Peprah is currently working on a number of projects, including: The Stepchild, Back 2 my Rootz (trilogy), Rebirth, Ultimate Heist and Feel My Pain.In this compelling suspenseful urban thriller, we meet King "KD" Diamond, a five year old orphan from West Africa, who loses his family tragically to a house fire. While Peprah aspires to be a great writer one day, his current focus is on reaching and entertaining readers around the world with his words. A few of his favorites are soccer, the New York Giants and the NBA player, Kevin Durant. He is also a sports freak and a big dreamer. Peprah likes to think he is capable of venturing out to restricted territories in his writing. While he's not in school, studying or playing daddy, Peprah utilizes his free time writing fiction and learning the craft of acting. Peprah is a lucky father to a lovely son, and a current student of Computer Engineering Technology at DeVry University in New York City. After spending five years in the military, during which he traveled across the United States and the world, Peprah has finally settled down to pursue his dream as a writer and further his education. He migrated to the United States with his family at age 16.

A veteran of the United States Army, Peprah was born and raised in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, in Western Africa. Peprah Boasiako is the author of the titles, THE HITMAN: A Short Story, THE SEXTAPE: A Dedication to the Ladies, and the soon to be released urban novel, The Genesis (Back 2 My Rootz series).
